The following ship models come as plank on frame model kits suitable for static or R/C for the experienced model builder.
At BaD, they produce kits which contain a majority of the items needed to finish your model. All kits contain molded polyester or vacuum formed parts in the form of gun mounts, gun directors, missile systems, ladders, doors and more. In running hardware they include drive shafts, stuffing boxes, brass props and rudder assemblies with rudder arms and stuffing tubes. To finish your model they also supply anchors, anchor chain, numbered decal sheet and flag. In wood parts they include planking, precut wood parts, dowels, etc., for building the hull, superstructure, masts or other assemblies depending on the kit. They also include steel wire for making stanchions, the reinforcing of ladders and certain mast assemblies.
The instruction manuals are full of step by step drawings on building the models and in most cases contain photocopies of the model in certain building states. A majority of the drawings are in a 3-dimensional view and in certain cases partly exploded to show how the parts go together. They will admit that there is some trimming of parts required for a proper fit, but this is understandable with nearly all wood kits.
