The Russian Kilo is the first modern diesel sub-marine in some
time. The first unit was launched in 1980, but the class is most well known
because of the sale of four units to the nation of Iran. Subs also sold to
Poland, India, Algeria and China.
The kit has single piece resin hull with metal dive planes and a Photo-etched prop. The kit measures 8 Inches long. A simple beginners kit.
